So we went to Fargo this Saturday for my sowing organizations banquette, as well as for other things.
First we did some shopping!
I got 9 yards of powerstretch fleece to make winter riding pants out of (to sell, not for me) as well as regular fleece to make Hannah a exercise rug, lycra to make Hannah a hood for Nysa in her color(lime green) and some corduroy to make my Niece a dress, all for $46.00!! I love fabric sales.
We got Famous Dave's for lunch, oh heaven, Nummy, nummeh, NUMMET!!
Then we went to the second run theater and saw Wall-E, Styles loved it, it will be purchased as soon as Target actually has it in stock, fricken movie is popular.
The banquet was pretty par for the course, sit around chatting with people you don't really know that well, hope to win some door prizes(we didn't win a thing) make with the "silent auction" that I didn't bid on a thing and the thing I offered(a set of custom made winter breeches) only got a few bids. Then onto the year end awards, I got a certificate for hunter under saddle with Nysa, Hannah got a intro dressage certificate(5th for the year) and a hunter under saddle certificate(4th for the year). I was thinking I'd get a dressage certificate or maybe even a championship(or reserve champ) but I didn't, the only reason I can think of why is because my scores are from two different horses. At the May show with Nysa I got two 3rds, at the June show with Nysa I got one intro 1st and two regular 1st's with into champ and regular reserve champ, then at the September show with Holi I got 3 1st's and Into Champ again...must be the horse switch that did me in. Oh well next season I'll be on Holi for all of it and will will kick the bootay :)
Seeing as there was drinking at the banquet Styles and I got a room for the night, we didn't want to drive back late, and we hadn't hit Fleet Farm yet, I had to hit Fleet Farm for some horse things. So yep, motel room, HUGE motel bed..I'll leave the rest up to some avtive imaginations ;)
The next morning we went to Hardees for some food, then sat in the mall's food court using their WiFi surfing the interwebs while we waited for stores to open up, in case ya'll didn't know nothing in NoDak is open until after noon on Sundays except for food and gas, yes that's right you can only fill your car or fill your tummy or go to church before 12:00 in NoDak on a Sunday...lame state, oh well gave us time to catch up on comics and to eat a Cinnabon(drools)
We picked up some fun things at Hot Topic once it opened, a cute hat and some earrings for me being the main thing(pics to follow) and Styles got a deadly "manna potion" energy drink, they won't sell it to people under 18..and they recommend it only for people over 16..that's some strong shit!
Then a quick buzz through Software Ect, I got a rechageable battery pack thing for my Wii Fit.
Fleet Farm was the last stop and we came home, after the breakfast we had neither of us was in the mood for lunch.

Not that exciting of a weekend I know..but it was us and we were together so that's what counts.

I am boooored, very bored...nothing to do.

We is going to Fargo on Saturday, to get horse things, to get material(hopefully) and to attend the year end award banquette for my showing club. I'm not expecting any awards(ok maybe one for dressage but not for hunters/jumpers), I just want to socialize and try try to find a home for Chance.

We is having trouble with the server PC, it's gone crappy after getting it's new MOBo and such, it saw that it now had two CPU's in it's Bios, but windows didn't see them, so Styles tried a reinstall on the primary partition, then windows being ghei decided to rename(re-letter) ALL the hard drives!! and he's been fighting with it ever sense, this sucks because the server has the music on it, along with the torrents, namely the episodes of Pushing Daisies that Styles missed while being in the desert.

We is enjoying just being together, having time to relax and reconnect, and as of today Styles has four days of leave(we can go anywhere we want) and then 10 days of not working(we have to stay around town unless we get permission) that takes us into the Thanksgiving holiday and my parents coming out again for a visit, or maybe to stay, but that's for another post.

yep alive, un-chaffed ;) happy.

I have my new PC built (WOOooOooo) new MoBo, new RAM, New CPU, new Hdd, new dvd drive/burner, it's fast, it loves me :) and apparently it can run CoD 4 on full res and look purdy, so it's purpose as a back up gaming rig for cannon fodder..I mean friends is fulfilled.

We have my old PC parts into the server and it's happily running, it's got my old MoBo, one of my CPU's(the second CPU being "new") as well as my old ram, and it hasn't had a problem with any of the servers Hdd's yet(that MoBo had Hdd issues at times) and seeing as the Server has 4 Hdd's that is saying something.
The servers MoBo was supposed to go into the media PC but it was decided that the media PC has more RAM and a OK CPU so it's staying as is, it just needs a new Hdd(it's 100 gig drive is fail) Styles is still working on both of those systems.

I am...well I'm happy, I'm well fucked and I'm fat, having Styles home my junk food consumption has gone WAY up, plus for four days I didn't do any barn chores, friends out there took the horses so I could just enjoy being with Styles, but that is my main source of physical activity and my waist is suffering :/ time to hit the Wii Fit I think...
